Kind Words from Clients
"We have had the pleasure of having Katie document the growth of our family for the last nine years. As a mother of two active boys, I am beyond thankful that Katie has patience, understanding and the innate ability to interact with my boys and capture unique moments in time. Katie is always well prepared and accommodating- (even when your little falls in the mud and has a huge grass stain after the first picture!). We look forward to seeing her every fall and I look forward to seeing her talent shine through when we receive the final photos."
"Katie is truly one of the best in her field and it shows through the moments she is able to capture--especially with children. We are beyond thankful for Katie, not only for her talent, but with the friendship that has been created through our annual photo sessions."
A Little About Me
I am a 35 year old Detroiter born into a big, loud, fun-loving family. I include that in almost every description of myself because it has played a massive role in the person I am, the direction my life has taken, and the reason I find such fulfillment in documenting beautiful families like the one I was blessed with.
In 2012, I graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a fine art degree in photography and have been photographing beautiful families, couples, babies and kids throughout metro-Detroit and northern Michigan ever since. Recently, I have decided to focus more on children and families with my work because I have found that to be the most enjoyable and I just love kids.
My husband and I were recently married at St. Anne's Parish in Detroit and are beginning our new life together in our first home in Dearborn, MI. I can most often be found working on our cool and very old house (built in 1927), cooking, or running around town with my best friends, most of which are under the age of 10 and refer to me as Aunt Kiki. My siblings and their spouses are my other best friends, and my heroes each in their own way. I love the Lord, a good laugh, spicy food, chocolate, and a glass of wine in that order [most days].
